Man dies after Limerick stabbing

A man has died after being stabbed during a street fight in Limerick City.

A man has died after being stabbed during a street fight in Limerick City.

The man, believed to be in his 30s, was found lying on the side of the road at Smith O'Brien Avenue in Kileely at 2.40am.

He was taken to Limerick Regional Hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival. Gardaí have detained a man for questioning.
