A 37-year-old man has died in a house fire in Roscommon.

A 37-year-old man has died in a house fire in Roscommon.

The blaze is reported to have happened at a house between Castlerea and Ballymoe at around 8pm last night.

The scene has been preserved.

Gardai have not released the dead man's name.
