Damien Richardson's Cork City start this year's campaign with a trick derby clash with Munster neighbours Waterford United at the RSC tonight, kick-off 7.45pm.
United will be missing midfielder Ray Scully who is hit by the FIFA regulation of not playing for three clubs in twelve months.
The experienced midfielder played for Shamrock Rovers and Dundalk in last year's First Division so must wait for FIFA clearance before he can make his competitive debut for the Blues.

Cork will also have to wait to showcase their new signings, former Ireland international Gareth Farrelly and Colin Healy who are alos hit by the FIFA regulation.
Brian O’Callaghan may also miss tonight's clash through injury, while striker John O’Flynn is definitely out as he is not fully-fit to feature.
