Libertas Chairman Declan Ganley will tonight confirm that he is to stand as a candidate in the European Elections in the constituency of Ireland North West.

Libertas Chairman Declan Ganley will tonight confirm that he is to stand as a candidate in the European Elections in the constituency of Ireland North West.

Mr Ganley will make his announcement in front of a crowd of about 200 supporters in the Glenloe Abbey Hotel in Galway tonight at 7.30pm.

He will tell the crowd that his decision to enter the election came only after “careful consideration and planning” and that he intends to visit every “town and county in the constituency” before June 4.
