Gardaí name third victim of weekend crashes

Gardaí have named the youth who was fatally injured in a road accident in Longford town just after midnight.

Gardaí have named the youth who was fatally injured in a road accident in Longford town just after midnight.

He was 19 year old Jaroslaw Debik, a Polish national based in Roosky, Co Roscommon.

He was killed when the car in which he was a passenger lost control and hit a pole at Battery Road in Longford.

A 20-year-old man has appeared before Longford District Court charged in connection with the incident.
