A young man is receiving treatment in hospital following a New Year's Day stabbing incident.

Man recovering in hospital after New Year's Day stabbing in Dublin

A young man is receiving treatment in hospital following a New Year's Day stabbing incident.

The 19-year-old suffered minor injuries in the attack at Llewellyn Grove in Ballinteer, Dublin 16 at about 2.50am yesterday morning.

There have been no arrests in relation to the incident and Gardaí are appealing to anyone with information to come forward.

The victim is understood to be in a stable condition in hospital.
