The Justice Minister Dermot Ahern has rejected claims made by former Green party Senator Deirdre de Burca that Fianna Fáil have been stone-walling Green party policies.

The Justice Minister Dermot Ahern has rejected claims made by former Green party Senator Deirdre de Burca that Fianna Fáil have been stone-walling Green party policies.

Mr Ahern said Green ministers have learned that they cannot just "click their fingers" and expect to get things done in government.

In her resignation letter Ms de Burca claimed Fianna Fáil were running rings around the Greens, but Mr Ahern sais that it is not the case.
