The ISEQ index of Irish shares continued in buoyant form this morning, once again breaking through the 10,000 barrier, rising up 36.72 points to 10017.8 by 11.25am.
All the financial heavyweights enjoyed good fortunes this morning. AIB gained 28c to 24.23, Bank of Ireland rose 27c to €18.72, Irish Life and Permanent rose 25c to €22.85, while Anglo Irish Bank rose 9c to €16.57.
Elsewhere Aer Lingus rose 9c to €2.82, while low-budget airline Ryanair gained 10c to €12.55.
One of today's few losers were Elan, who fell 40c to €10.54.
