Bank holiday gridlock as thousands head home to cities
Roads across the nation are set for a night of gridlock as the big return home continues following the holiday weekend.
For tens of thousands it is going to be a long night on the road.
Earlier today, Bus Eireann produced figures, which show that it now takes forty minutes longer to get one of its coaches into or out of Dublin than it did five years ago.
Only last week another survey showed gridlock was a top political issue for voters.
