Post mortem due after elderly woman dies in Cavan fire
A post mortem will be carried out today on the body of an elderly woman who died following a house fire in Co Cavan last night.
Emergency services were called to the scene at Tunnyduff in Bailieborough shortly after 7pm.
The woman's body was taken to the morgue at Cavan General Hospital.
The area has been preserved while gardaí carry out a technical examination of the scene.
