Two men have been killed after a car crashed with a lorry, gardaí said tonight.

Two men have been killed after a car crashed with a lorry, gardaí said tonight.

The vehicles collided at 6.40pm on the Birdhill side of Daly’s Cross in Limerick, investigating officers said.

The road between Birdhill and Finnegan’s Roundabout was closed for several hours after the crash, with traffic diverted through Newport.
