Hundreds of jobs are expected to created in Co Westmeath following the approval of a planned €200m commercial development in Mullingar.

Hundreds of jobs are expected to created in Co Westmeath following the approval of a planned €200m commercial development in Mullingar.

The Blackhall project includes up to 30 shops, a hotel, restaurants and a multi-storey car park.

Hundreds of jobs are due to be created during the construction phase and the developers say more than 1,500 permanent jobs could come on stream following completion.
