Man arrested in connection with 2017 sexual assault in Limerick

A man in his 30s has been arrested in connection with the sexual assault of a woman in Co Limerick in 2017.

It happened in the Knockacraig area of Drumcollagher in July 2017.

The man was arrested at Dublin airport yesterday after being extradited from Scotland.

He is due before Limerick District Court this afternoon.
