Three Irish sisters are due to be released from prison in Egypt today.

A judge has ordered the release of Omaima, Fatima and Soumaia Halawa, who have been held in Cairo since they were arrested during a protest there in August.

Their brother, Ibrahim, remains in custody and is expected to appear in court in Cairo tomorrow.

The four siblings are from Dublin and their father is the Imam of the Islamic Cultural Centre in Clonskeagh.
