Public representatives from Ireland, Britain, the Isle of Man and the Channel Islands are due in Kilkenny today for the bi-annual meeting of the British-Irish Inter-parliamentary Body.
The delegates are expected to discuss issues of common concern, such as fishing and tourism, but the Irish peace process is expected to top the agenda.
Foreign Affairs Minister Brian Cowen is due to update the meeting on the latest developments in talks aimed at restoring the North's Assembly and Executive.
