The Department of Foreign Affairs has advised against all non-essential travel to Saudi Arabia following British warnings about a possible attack.

The Department of Foreign Affairs has advised against all non-essential travel to Saudi Arabia following British warnings about a possible attack.

The British Foreign Office claimed yesterday that Islamic militants were in the advanced stages of planning an attack in the very near future.

Irish citizens in Saudi Arabia have also been advised to exercise increased vigilance, especially in places popular among Western workers.
