The Office of Environmental Enforcement was launched in Dublin today, with the power to fine up to €15m for breaches of the Waste Management Act.

The Office of Environmental Enforcement was launched in Dublin today, with the power to fine up to €15m for breaches of the Waste Management Act.

The Director General of the EPA, Mary Kelly says the new office will provide a range of new powers in the fight against waste production and those who engage in illegal waste activities.
