Dublin born striker Eoin Doyle has agreed a move to Championship side Cardiff City FC.
Doyle has scored 25 goals this season for League One side Chesterfield and the club had reportedly recevied three separate offers for the player, with Cardiff meeting the valuation put on Doyle by his club.

In recent days, it had been rumoured that Doyle could make a move to the MLS, with New York City reportedly keen on the prolific striker.

The player's move to a Championship side may also put him on the radar of Republic of Ireland manager Martin O'Neill.

Chesterfield Chief Executive Chris Turner said the deal was the right one for both the player and the club.
"Eoin's been here for 16 month," he said. "He's been a tremendous success for us.
"The deal today is good for everybody. We are not a club to stand in the way of a player's progression. "
