A Spanish tourist has been injured in a shooting in Dublin city centre.

A Spanish tourist has been injured in a shooting in Dublin city centre.

A lone gunman fired several shots through the door of Saddler’s Pub on Parkgate Street, just off the North quays, shortly before 11pm.

The woman was shot in the leg. It is not believed she was a target for the gunman, who escaped on a scooter.

She is being treated at Mater hospital - her injuries are not life-threatening.
