Eddie Doyle and Jimmy Heggarty turned in a hot finish at Rosslare to match the sunshine and share the honours after the Senator Windows pro-am tournament.

Heggarty birdied four of the last six holes and Doyle birdied four of the last seven to split the winner's cheque.

Both players finished at three-under-par 69 - great recovery by Doyle who was three over after five holes having double-bogeyed the short 2nd hole. However, he birdied the other two short holes - the 8th and 10th and after dropping a stroke at the 11th he then birdied the next two, the 14th and the

long 18th.

It was a flying finish also by Heggarty,. He turned one-under after a two at the 2nd, bogeyed 11 and 12 and then went birdie-birdie-par-par-birdie-birdie to finish.

Heggarty made it a personal double as he also led in the winning team on 95 points.
