Five men have been arrested in connection with burglaries and other criminal activities in Co Tipperary.

Five men have been arrested in connection with burglaries and other criminal activities in Co Tipperary.

The men were arrested following planned searched in Dublin and Carlow this morning.

It is part of an ongoing investigation into organised criminal activity and burglaries in the Tipperary area.

The five men, who are aged between 19 and 50, are being held at various Garda Stations throughout County Tipperary, where they can be questioned for up to seven days.
