French woman killed in Co Westmeath crash

A French woman in her late 20s has died in a road accident near Mullingar in Co Westmeath last night.

A French woman in her late 20s has died in a road accident near Mullingar in Co Westmeath last night.

The woman died when the car she was driving was in collision with another vehicle on the N4 at Cullionmore shortly after 8pm.

Three other people were also injured and are recovering in hospital in Mullingar.

Gardai are withholding the dead woman's name until all next of kin are informed.
