Gardaí continue to question two on €600k drugs haul
Two men remain in Garda custody this morning, in connection with a significant drugs haul in Co. Laois two days ago.
Up to €600,000 worth of cocaine and cannabis herb were discovered by Gardaí when they stopped and searched a van on Grattan Street in Portlaoise at around 3.30pm on Friday afternoon.
Two men in their 30s were arrested.
They are currently being held at Portlaoise Garda Station for questioning.
