AC Milan could make an announcement regarding coach Carlo Ancelotti’s future as early as Monday.
With speculation rife in Italy and England that Ancelotti will leave for Chelsea in the summer, AC Milan administrator Adriano Galliani said today the club would confirm their coach for next season provided they secure automatic qualification for the Champions League by winning on Sunday.
“If Milan beat Roma, therefore assuring a place in next season’s Champions League, on Monday we will reveal (the coach),” Galliani said.
“At Milan, there is no chaos but only very clear ideas that will be announced once we claim a Champions League place.
“(AC Milan owner Silvio) Berlusconi and I always agree on our decisions. There is no difference between the president and the club administrator and I hope I can make an announcement on Monday.”
Milan are three points clear of Juventus in second place with two games left.
