Gardaí are appealing for witnesses after a woman was killed in a car crash in Co. Wexford.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses after a woman was killed in a car crash in Co. Wexford.

The 48-year-old was airlifted to Tallaght Hospital after her car collided with a jeep on the R772 between Gorey and Clough.

It happened at around 10.30am yesterday morning but the woman lost her fight for life last night.

The driver of the jeep was treated for minor injuries.
