More than 40 people died in a suicide car bomb attack on an Algerian police college today.

More than 40 people died in a suicide car bomb attack on an Algerian police college today.

The bomb went off as young would-be officers queued waiting to register at the college in Boumerdes, 35 miles from Algiers.

Another 38 people were injured.
