Man in critical condition after Donegal road accident

A 26-year-old man remains critically ill after he was hit by a car in Letterkenny in the early hours of this morning.

A 26-year-old man remains critically ill after he was hit by a car in Letterkenny in the early hours of this morning.

The man was hit by a car shortly before four o'clock this morning on Pearse Road in Letterkenny.

He was taken to Letterkenny General Hospital.

The driver of the car escaped injury.

A technical examination of the scene has been completed, and the road has reopened.
