A clear-the-air meeting scheduled for today between Brian Lennox and the Cork City players in a row over training facilities has been postponed, the Evening Echo reported today.

A number of Cork’s players complained about the standard of training facilities yesterday but Lennox countered, insisting that the best facilities in the city had been made available to the team’s management.

Lennox, along with general manager Paddy Gilly and technical director Liam Murphy were due to talk to the players in the Rochestown Park Hotel.

This has now been deferred until next Tuesday or Wednesday as Paddy Gilly is away on business.
