Thousands of people have been enjoying the summer weather at the Big Chill festival in England today.
The site at Eastnor Castle Deer Park in Herefordshire has been basked in sunshine all day for the bumper crowd to enjoy the musical and comedy attractions on offer.
'Coronation Street' actor Craig Charles drew a large audience for his funk and soul DJ set earlier in the afternoon.
The largest crowd at the four-day festival however came during the Basement Jaxx performance at the Open Air stage last night. Others acts yet to play include Orbital, Spiritualized and former Talking Heads frontman David Byrne.
The festival was officially opened on Thursday by Woodstock creator Michael Lang on the 40th anniversary of the legendary event.
Earlier that day a new world record for the largest zombie gathering was set when 4,026 pale and bloodied revellers took part in filming for the forthcoming Film4 and Warp Films production, 'I Spit On Your Rave'.
Katrina Larkin, the Big Chill festival director and co-founder, said of the zombie gathering: "It was such a laugh and just created the best atmosphere and start to the festival ever."
