Motorcyclist killed in Galway crash

A male motorcyclist in his 20s has been killed in a crash in Co Galway.

A male motorcyclist in his 20s has been killed in a crash in Co Galway.

The collision between a car and a motorcycle happened after shortly 10am today at Inchaboy South in Gort. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Two people travelling in the car were taken to hospital with minor injuries.

Gardaí have closed off the road while a forensic investigation is carried out.
