Dublin Airport has reopened to arrivals and departures, after it was forced to close for some hours this morning due to snow ion the runways.

The Dublin Airport Authority has warned that, due to a backlog of flights, delays will affect some routes and that passengers should contact their airlines for more information.

The eastern part of the country is being worst hit by snow and icy conditions today.

Cork, Shannon and Knock airports are operating normally.
