Emergency services were called to deal with a fire near the Kingston Hotel in Dun Laoghaire, Co Dublin last night.

It is not known what caused the blaze.

Meanwhile three premises were damaged in a major fire at an industrial estate in Chapelizod in Dublin yesterday.

The road from the bridge at the Old Lucan Road to the Conyngham Road is closed as a result this morning.
