"Gallas is out, Rosicky is out and Henry is out," said Arsenal boss Arsène Wenger . "We have lost Kolo Toure through suspension but Johan Djourou should be OK."

The manager has not put a timescale on Thierry Henry’s return. However he indicated the captain would miss both Wigan on Wednesday and Portsmouth next Saturday.

“We have had a chat about how he feels and when he will come back,” said Wenger. “There is no target for him to make a comeback. First you have to wait till he has no pain anymore and then you have to prepare. In this job you need your body.”
