At least one more of the five Irish passport holders deported from Israel to Turkey will return home today.

At least one more of the five Irish passport holders deported from Israel to Turkey will return home today.

Two of the group - who were on board the Gaza-bound boats seized by Israeli commandos on Monday - are being treated in hospital for injuries suffered during scuffles at Tel Aviv airport.

The Irish vessel the MV Rachel Corrie - with five Irish citizens on board - is still sailing towards Gaza where it expects to arrive by tomorrow morning.

Last night, up to 500 people took part in a protest march in Dublin against the Israeli action.
