Ireland's court system has issued just six Anti Social Behavioural Orders (ASBOs) since the sceme was introduced three years ago.

Three adults and three children have been issued with court orders so far.

More than 1,400 children and 1,000 adults have received behaviour warnings, the first step towards getting an ASBO.

The controversial orders were brought in by the Government to tackle loitering, intimidation and excessive noise, all activities that disrupt others but do not constitute a crime.
