A 38-year-old former employee of the Coombe Hospital has been fined and sentenced to community service.

A 38-year-old former employee of the Coombe Hospital has been fined and sentenced to community service.

Desmond McCabe from Drimnagh in Dublin pleaded guilty to trespassing at the hospital with intent to commit a crime in March of last year.

In the process, seven foetuses were moved to a different part of the hospital.

McCabe was sentenced to 120 hours community service and had to donate £1,000 to the charity Aware.
