The family and friends of a missing Dublin woman have launched a special appeal to her today.
Claire Boylan was last seen on the morning of March 2 when she left her family home in Dublin to visit a friend in Tullamore.
This was the last known contact that anyone has had with Claire and her family and friends are anxious to establish that she is safe and well.
Claire's family are hoping to contact Claire as her mother Maureen faces an important operation next week.
They believe it would be of great relief to Mrs Boylan if Claire could make contact with her mother directly or through the family or her friends.
Claire is 36 years old and is 5ft 4", with short brown curly hair, green eyes and an oval shaped face.
She walks with a slight stoop and it is believed that she may be wearing a waist length blue jacket with a yellow collar.
She is described as a conscientious and shy young woman.
Anyone with information relating to Claire is urged to contact their local gardaí.
Members of the general public are requested to be vigilant for sightings of anyone matching her description.
