May Day rally to kick off at 2pm

The annual May Day rally organised by the Dublin Council of Trade Unions takes place later today, at 2pm.

The annual May Day rally organised by the Dublin Council of Trade Unions takes place later today, at 2pm.

Those attending the rally will demand a major job creation and stimulus programme.

President of the Dublin Council of Trade Unions Phil McFadden said the the march from Parnell Square to Liberty Hall would focus on how working people are "shouldering the responsibility for costly mistakes in the economic crisis".
