Duo to finish last of 32 marathons today

Two Mullingar men have been raising awareness and money for the organisation Irish Autism Action by running 32 marathons across 32 counties in 32 days.

Two Mullingar men have been raising awareness and money for the organisation Irish Autism Action by running 32 marathons across 32 counties in 32 days.

Gerry Duffy and Ken Whitelaw will today complete the final leg of their challenge in Mullingar.

More than 200 local people are expected to run or walk alongside them in the final marathon - which got underway at 10am this morning.

The 13.1 mile course will loop out from Mullingar Town Park to Belvedere House and Gardens and back to town.
