It's Jade or Adele for BB exit

Either Jade or Adele are likely to be booted out of the Big Brother house today in what promises to be the closest eviction battle yet.

Either Jade or Adele are likely to be booted out of the Big Brother house today in what promises to be the closest eviction battle yet.

Jade started the week as hot favourite to be kicked out of the house but she is now neck and neck with Adele.

Bookmakers Coral on Wednesday closed its books on Adele after a flurry of bets on the bisexual bodybuilder.

It is the first time that the 23-year-old from Southport has been up for eviction and her two-faced behaviour has not endeared her to viewers.

Loud-mouthed Jade, 21, from Bermondsey, south London, is so unpopular with the public that at last week’s eviction crowds gathered outside the house waving banners reading ‘‘Kill the Pig’’ and shouting ‘‘Jade out’’.

She was nominated by every housemate after they finally got wise to her bitching behind their backs.

Housemates Kate and Jonny are also nominated for eviction but bookmakers say they are safe.

Voting has fluctuated between Jade and Adele all week and it is now too close to call, said Ladbrokes spokesman Simon Ansell.

‘‘Jade began as the favourite, then it was Adele, then it was back to Jade again. People just can’t decide who they want out this week and it’s definitely too close to call,’’ he said.

Viewers voting by text message after learning of the nominations on Wednesday night found

themselves were thrown into a panic after a technical glitch.

They received a message confirming their vote - but listing a different name from the one they had nominated.

However Channel 4 insisted that the votes had gone to the correct housemate.

‘‘Following the announcement of this week’s nominations, the volume of votes received caused an error at our text messaging centre which resulted in some users receiving multiple and incorrect confirmations of their vote.

‘‘The error has now been rectified, and we can confirm that every text message vote cast has been registered correctly,’’ a spokeswoman said.
