Limerick and Galway set for jobs boost

Galway is due to receive a massive jobs boost. Around 600 positions are being created by a UK firm at Ballybritt business park.

They are due to be announced by Tanaiste Mary Harney this afternoon.

Meanwhile, 280 new jobs have been confirmed for Limerick, where the Thomson Net-G firm is expanding its operations in Plassey.
