Two arrested in connection with fatal Clare car crash
Gardaí in Co Clare have arrested two men in connection with a fatal car crash in Clarecastle last week.
John Cahill, from Gort in Co Galway, died when his car collided with another vehicle in the Knocknamana area at around 10.30pm on Friday night.
Gardaí investigating the incident arrested a 42-year-old Ennis man this morning on suspicion of dangerous driving causing death, while a 49-year-old Canadian citizen was also detained.
