Mark Rossiter is ruled out with a hamstring strain, while Ollie Cahill is also missing with hamstring issues.

Ger O'Brien returns from a one-match suspension, while Glenn Cronin, Christy Fagan and Barry Murphy have all returned to fitness and will be included in the squad.

Gypsies boss Pat Fenlon said: “We’ve been playing well but getting done on silly mistakes or individual errors, which we’ve got to eradicate.

“We need to approach the games at a higher tempo, on the front foot, rather than being a bit apprehensive.

“We may be able to adapt the system now we have some players back. Their return gives us different options.”

For UCD, Robbie Creevy remains an injury concern, while both Graham Rusk and Cillian Morrison have returned to training but are unlikely to be ready for tonight’s trip across Dublin.

UCD boss Martin Russell said: “Bohs have a much more experienced side than some people are giving them credit for.

“They have been there and done it. We will go there and try and take points off a good team. We have a young team that is always learning and we will try to make it difficult for them and look to express ourselves as we can.”
