Gardaí question man over cannabis factory

A man was being questioned today after a small-scale cannabis factory was uncovered.

A man was being questioned today after a small-scale cannabis factory was uncovered.

Plants were seized in an apartment in Nenagh, Co Tipperary, following a planned search yesterday lunchtime.

Gardaí said the cannabis had an estimated street value of about €32,000 and was at various stages of growth. Growing equipment was also recovered.

The arrested man, aged in his 50s, was being detained at Nenagh garda station under section two of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act.
