Mark McHugh was St Mary's' match winner at Dooradoyle when he kicked a penalty from 45 metres in the fourth minute of stoppage time and gained a crucial AIB league point.

Mary's were leading 18-11 when John McWeeny scored his second try in the 75th min but Garryowen struck back with a try by John O'Sullivan, converted by Jeremy Staunton. The sides were level at 18-all.

McHugh got the winner for Mary's in the 84th minute.
