Ireland's entry has failed to qualify for this final of this year's Eurovision song contest in Russia.

Sinead Mulvey and Black Daisy were contesting last night's semi-final in Moscow with their song 'Etcetera'.

However, for the second consecutive year, the Irish contingent failed to garner enough votes to progress to tomorrow night's decider.

The Danish entry 'Believe Again', which was co-written by Ronan Keating, was one of the 10 that made it through to the final.
