Fire damages disused storehouse in Cork

A fire has caused extensive damage to a disused storehouse on Kennedy Quay in Cork city this morning.

A fire has caused extensive damage to a disused storehouse on Kennedy Quay in Cork city this morning.

The blaze at the R&H Hall mill and grain store was spotted at around 7am

Six units of the fire brigade were dispatched to the scene and are understood to have now brought the fire under control.

There were no injuries, but the building was extensively damaged.

Technical examinations are due to get underway later to determine the cause of the blaze.
