Dublin man pleads not guilty to child's murder

A Dublin man has pleaded not guilty to the murder of a 12-year-old in April last year, at the Central Criminal Court today.

A Dublin man has pleaded not guilty to the murder of a 12-year-old in April last year, at the Central Criminal Court today.

John Carroll, (aged 49), of Bayview Rise, Killiney, Co Dublin, has pleaded not guilty to the murder of Andrew Carroll (aged 12), of Bayview Rise, Killiney, Co Dublin at Bayview Rise on April 30, 2004.

A jury of four men and eight women was sworn in. The trial is expected to begin on Friday before Mr Justice Paul Carney.
