'Hello boy' as Wonderbra model becomes a mum

Supermodel Eva Herzigova has given birth to a baby boy, it was announced today.

Supermodel Eva Herzigova has given birth to a baby boy, it was announced today.

George Marsiaj Herzig was born in Paris on June 1.

He is the first child for Herzigova, 34, who shot to fame as the Wonderbra girl in the "Hello Boys" ad campaign, and her partner of several years, Italian businessman Gregorio Marsiaj.

A spokeswoman for model agency Storm said: "Eva and Gregorio are celebrating the birth of their first child. They now have a lovely son who they have named George Marsiaj Herzig.

"The whole family are well, Eva is delighted, and they will all be leaving on a holiday together shortly."

Before meeting Marsiaj in 2001, she had a two-year marriage to Bon Jovi drummer Tico Torres.

The Czech-born model said that she will not be following the celebrity trend for shedding the baby weight in a matter of weeks.

"I just want to enjoy this. I'm not like one of those celebrity people who would die to get back into shape," she said in an interview last month.

"If people want to take pictures of me being round, they will take pictures of me being round. I think it's important to show your true self and how you are - you don't have to be in perfect shape or skinny shape."

She had previously sparked fears for her health by appearing to be dangerously underweight, however.
