A man has been arrested in connection with an alleged murder in Dublin last summer.

A man has been arrested in connection with an alleged murder in Dublin last summer.

David Douglas was shot dead on Bridgefoot Street in the city on July 1.

Gardaí from the detective units in Kevin Street and Kilmainham arrested a man in his early 40s in the Dublin area this morning.

He is being detained under Section 50 of the Criminal Justice Act at Kilmainham garda station.

It marks the fourth arrest in this investigation. Another man is currently before the courts in relation to the case.
